![]() Part of what's pissing me off so much is that it's impossible to find a direct line for any of the actual locations, so I can't call ahead and see if I would be able to walk in on any given day. Of course not - line out the door, self service kiosk says first available day is in mid march for any location near Austin. Then, on the way back home, I stopped at the DPS on N Lamar just to see if I could get lucky. The lady in Bastrop tells me that they won't do out of state transfers unless I have an appointment. So I figure alright, I'll drive out to Bastrop where there's an office, nobody will be there, I'll be able to get in no problem. Wait times are crazy right now, but on the DPS website it says that they take a few same-day appointments every day. I moved here recently and need to get a TX driver's license.
